Most common car models

Among passenger cars, the leaders are the VW UP! (~64,000), Peugeot 208, Toyota Yaris, VW Polo and — increasingly — the Tesla Model Y (~50,000), followed by the Toyota Aygo, Citroën C3 and the ever-present VW Golf. Small, economical city cars dominate, with one electric SUV now firmly in the top ten.

Biggest brands

Volkswagen is the clear number one with over 430,000 vehicles, followed by Toyota, Ford, Peugeot, Škoda and Mercedes-Benz. (Trailer makers such as Brenderup rank high too, since trailers are also registered in the DMR.)
